Let items swap positions in inventory if room available ESC should cancel everything, there's some weirdness where modes seem to get "overlaid" somehow and ESC goes to the menu on top of a build or configure mode, and I can keep canceling one mode after another Side note: finally found a use for my excess materials! Made a jillion Thrusters2, swapped them for Hydraulic Extenders1, swapped those for Lasers = crystals profit :D...

Messing around with the demo, lots of fun. One thing that's a slight bother is that my guns shoot my own blocks a lot, sometimes while the ship is turning but most often when they're on a hinge. Would it be possible to add a couple more fields for hinges - max turn left and max turn right, in degrees? It's kind of finicky to make them stop with blocks and I don't always have space. Actually, I'm not even sure if I'm doing damage to my own blocks, but I lost a bunch of tiny miniguns off a hinge once and I'...

I went over the tutorial twice but it doesn't seem to be explained there - what's with the item level notation? 1 subscript 0, 0 subscript 9, and so on? Is that like a decimal place, so 1.0, 0.9? Also, it's tough to figure out what I have and what I can safely melt. Some alternate tabs would be nice: on the left of the inventory, you could have tabs like Propulsion, Armor, Melee Weapons, Energy, Guns, and so on. Also some kind of sorting button I could hit - ideally this would group together similar items...
