There are hotkeys you can use to target specific party members. Its either the number keys (1-0) or the Function keys (F). These hotkeys can be changed within the settings.
If you're talking about Large scale fights (ZvZ) / Small Scale fights (SS). Its better to use AOE healing giving the amount of people during the brawl (This is why there are separate parties in ZvZ to have a dedicated healer for the main tanks / shotcaller, and other healing in the second party) to stop healing sickness and party management. Due to the large amount of people, there is going to be impact on visibility, and the amount of stuff happening on the screen at once. An indicator would be additional noise that will clog your screen IMO
If you are talking about arenas. There are three visual points (The party list, Teammates health bars above them, Colour dots on map) that indicate your team mates positions and health status. With this information, you should be available to hotkey (F1: first member in list - F5) to the right person and give them the proper dedicated healing using Holy, or group using Nature.
To help you right now, one thing that indicates is a faded info box (Name / Health).
This shows that they are on the edge of your screen. If the box is fully visible, they are near / on your screen directly
But to continue the discussion, can you share an mmo that uses a feature like this, so I can see how its implemented?
Would be a really nice quality of life feature in this game to have. Not having it makes the game way more tedious than it should be for me to play.
