We do take the current hacker/botting situation very seriously. We also posted an update about it earlier today, including the number of bots banned so far: {LINK REMOVED}https://forum.albiononline.com/index.php/Thread/179946-Update-on-Speed-hacking-on-Albion-East/
If you should encounter a bot or hacker ingame, please report them (the steps can be found in the post linked above.
It is difficult to target some of the bots sometimes to be able to report them in the first place, and if that is your only method to report them in-game and needing to type it out each time its going to eventually cause problems.
From gatherers to speedhackers, clicking them, then clicking again to report, then typing out a report, is excessive when you know what youre looking for as a bot hunter.
It would be nice if the method was a little more user friendly, because of how many bots there are, and there is alot, so i imagine most reports are eventually copy pasted that's easy and quick for the person making the report, something like "bot behaviour" because of how often it will need to be done, or even "bot" so for the sake of sanity it would be amazing if there are buttons that we can click to target specifically them or that type of menace the devs are looking for, would be nice.
So if there are additional buttons to click that worked as 1 of a few designated report options of things the devs are wanting to stop, because things "needing" to type it out manually while they kill us and steal the resources will cause frustration, but if 3 clicks is all it takes to report the bot im riding past, im happy, and then ill read about it on the forums a week later.

MEANWHILE ON EAST...........
An entire guild called "xy001" is 100% bots and living the bot life without worry of punishment.
Do we believe the albion forums?
Bots everywhere...

I have seen up to 11 bots following the same path, i wish i could have recorded that for this thread, im sure others have seen it too, theyre everywhere.
Some bots look normal, but they move in the same pattern per zone over and over.
The premium bots(paid for and undetectable) have routes they walk along, they seem to have the layout of every zone mapped out and make weird janky movements.
theyre everywhere, and the spy bots in red/black zone entrances wearing nothing and on a t3 ox.
Bots dying to enemies while they gather.
Have seen new bots doing same thing but they retaliate now and will flee if they get low health, but will mostly just run into other enemies and die.
(tho this game skips many quality of life functions that make people need to use a macro tool for the sake of their sanity, is far cry from having a bot farm resources all day, am almost positive its albion's bots, because if any moderator came into game and walked around he would be banning 1000's per hour).
I am seeing swarms of bots in zones, all with dumb names and they all walk the same path and fight the same and wear the same gear, and they stack up i nthe same path causing a centipede-bot like voltron or power rangers.
If it walks like a duck.. and thats insulting the ducks..
Im pretty sure WASD is not the culprit, the gif's dont capture all the other bits other than what they look like.
It happens so often you can tell theyre not players.
I do hope the steam social media staff for albion are still reading this post, i have no problems with them not responding if theyre hunting these bots with a flame thrower.
I stop and talk to alot of them to see if any have been programmed to talk.
NEVER have i had one of these bots stop and reply to me talking to them, over the many hours i see them walk past they never talk or use /say.
