Is the combat entertaining?

Albion newbie here, wondering if the combat in the game is actually interesting or is it just a copy of runescape where you click to attack them throughout the game

Welcome to Albion Online! PVP combat here is a combination of managing your cooldowns, properly timing when to use a skill, escaping and resetting when you need to re-engage.

Pretty solid and has a lot build paths you can take that are effective

Depends on what build. You have some that will have you qwerd 1 & 2 all day.

Then you have some really brain dead builds that you can just QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ the entire dungeon area.

the combat is fun and that's really the best and only part of the game that holds up long-term compared to what exists in some other mmorpgs. if you like pvp enough then it's a fun game. i'm more of a social crafting dungeon runner so i like other games more. while the combat is good the game otherwise is shallow and seems more like a mobile game than a real pc mmorpg. it also has an isometric camera which is something i like about it. i prefer that to first person mmorpgs.
