How long does "process of deleting account" usually take?

Greetings all,

Since I want to play with the same account on all my platforms (mainly Steam and Android) I asked support to delete the account, 6 days ago they confirmed the process started.

Anybody got experience with this and knows how long it usually takes? Is it really 2 weeks?!?

If you messaged support, they usually provide the expectation that account deletions may take 7-14+ days to be completed.

My OP confirms that, hence my question if people here have experience with if that it ACTUALLY takes that long... Seems it does, as my account in not even locked yet (as they claimed they'll do, now 7 days ago).

When they bust account sharing with steam for accounts that are not started on Steam, the least they could do is try to speed it up a bit. By the time this is done, I'm probably 3 games further... Ah well.

I expect the length of the wait is a precaution against account theft.

This is because account deletions are final and irreversible. This time frame allows players time to decide if they want to cancel their requests.

I've heard from some players that they requested an account deletion due to some frustrations but later changed their minds and they were able to get their account back.
