Cant play without VPN is there a fix?

I cant play this game without VPN. Ive spent the last couple hours trying to get past SSL error problem and finally resorted to downloading a free VPN to test that, and thats the only thing that has caused it to fix itself. Is there any other solution to fix this besides that. I would like to not have to have a VPN on to play this game.

Can you please clarify your country and Internet provider? The SSL error issue is reported to be related to the Mcaffee security that some of the providers install on their Routers, it can be turned off in the Router settings.
