do this game go offline for maintenance every day?
is it like this all the time or for a reason?

Sadly it goes maintenance every day, but I do not know what is the reason.
Maintenance usually last for 30 mins to 1 hour

Imo, it is wired that the maintenace is not at night but at daytime. Yet, I am by far no expert in IT-management, so maybe it does involve a lot of manpower, that would not be available at night.

Maintenance is at 3 AM my time, perfect for me cause I'm not playing. Sucks to be yall. ;)

Here's the reason why there's a Daily Maintenance every 10 UTC.

The Developers use it to do the following when applicable:

The maintenance is for:
• Performing database backups.
• Deploying server-side updates and fixes.
• Working on hardware (adding new machines, updating operating system, changing routing and network configuration).
• Also, certain things in the game world change during downtime; most notably resources in the world clusters are different after each maintenance.
