Confused about monthly challenge

The chest rewards are unlocked weekly, while the monthly reward isn't. The Adventurer Challenge points do not go to your weekly progress if it isn't unlocked yet.

Which is why it's possible to get the monthly Adventurer Challenge reward ahead of the weekly rewards.

ahh yea that makes sense... welp, I guess I'll be playing at the end of each month then so I don't have to 're-earn' a reward because of a time-lock
