Do I just keep doing this same stupid dungeon?

There is this public dungeon near swamp cross that has tons of people circling, and or waiting for a boss/chest to spawn. I have t4 gear, I tried going to a T4 area and solo dungeon and i could not for the life of me beat the boss, there are people in the dungeon near swamp cross( which says its t3) with T8 gear one shotting the 'boss' that spawns by the chest, and gets all the loot. Is this really what we are supposed to be doing? Just keep running around afk waiting for these chests? I don't see anything else I can do at this level, and the T4 areas obliterate me.

There are loads of things to do besides dungeons. If you are having trouble with a solo dungeon boss, your best bet is to fame-farm open-world mobs until you’ve reached a higher tier and more specialization, then try again. The mobs can be few near a city or town, but wander further and you’ll find enough to keep you busy.

It’s not clear whether you know the different types of dungeons yet. Bosses do not respawn in solo dungeons, so the one with T8 campers has to be a static dungeon; the mobs in static and group dungeons are much tougher than those in solos, even though they look similar. So when you say “the T4 areas obliterate me”, if you mean a static dungeon, you can probably handle T4 open-world mobs and work your way up. And the mobs in T4 and T5 zones that drop loot, drop significantly better stuff than those in T3 (to say nothing of what you’ll find whenever you are ready for black zones).

if its that lucrative why is the tier 8 guy camping this static dungeon that says its t3? ( i mean i know why ) because the chest in there drops insane loot, tons of silver, and items. but if these chests are so great, maybe its not worth it to go farm open world stuff?

That T8 guy’s play style sounds extremely boring to me. Even if that chest drops the best silver and items in the game (which I doubt), what is he doing with that silver and those items? Just piling them up and going back to that same dungeon? Would be unbearably dull. I mix up lots of different activities in Albion; I make much less silver per hour than I could if I committed to specializing completely on one thing, like your T8 guy is doing in that dungeon, but hoarding silver eventually gets kinda pointless if you don’t ever do anything with the silver besides hoarding it….
