Horses favorite food??

I could of swore it was carrots (why wouldnt it be) and only took 9 per feeding which is in-line with other animals getting their favorite food types, but Today when feeding my T5's, it took 31 Carrots.. Its food now says vegetables and herbs and doesnt list a favorite.

Did something change or what? 3 fields of carrots cant feed 6 horses and are the only one i can see that doenst have a fav listed.

T3 horses only require 9 or 10 carrots, but every tier higher requires more, hence T5 requiring 31 and T6 needing 69. I’ve never raised a T7 or T8 horse, so am not sure how much they eat, but I assume more. I think I recall Swamp Dragon pups (the only T7 mount I’ve raised) eating something like 129 units of meat per day, and mounts of the same tier seem to eat the same number, so T7 horse might need 129 carrots daily. The only T8 critter I’ve raised was a Spring Cottontail, and I didn’t count carefully, but that beast (which ate chocolate), needed multiple hundreds of units! I’m glad it grew up in only a day or two, I would’ve gone broke feeding it otherwise….

Thanks for clearing that up, i thought i was going crazy. Looks like im gonna have to hold off on raising the rest of my livestock until i get premium again or they will eat me out of all my silver.

I guess that means i can feed T5+ anything since carrots dont give seeds at all without watering, but i hope they re visit this since feeding anything 100+ units of food seems ridiculous.
