merge the servers
The albion could be thinking, just for a server. The first server could have access to the Asian server, what would differentiate going from the old server to the Asian one would be the ping!

This is actually a decent idea. Some thoughts:
- For people with multiple characters, merging them into one list would be nice.
- One issue is player names. What if a name is already taken?
- Another issue is that zones would have to be instanced. One instance per server actually sounds fine.
- Players could get transfered between servers while in a safe zone or upon logging in if that would lower their ping by >30ms. For this to not be a random nuisance, the number would be adjustable in settings.
- If someone is about to get invited to a party from another server, they'd get a warning that they're about to get a transfer loading screen. For this to not be a nuisance, players could have a server icon as an extra symbol appended to the end of their name in chat. Similar to how in Warframe, you can see who plays from which platform.
- Merging auction houses would be great for economy. The more players participate in it, the healthier it becomes.
- Guild and player islands could be fixed to a server and visited by members of another server for socialising purposes.

The player could even take out a passport worth an in-game prize, and hang it on the wall of the island! ok, that was a joke, but I would take the passport yes, to collect it!
