Another VERY important thing is that chinese botters/gold sellers/monopolists who own many of the larger cities have imposed massive 200%+ taxes on every thing to take advantage of new players who dont know thats not the norm.
If a tax is above 50%, leave that place and go somewhere else. From what ive seen on the official forums, bridgeport isnt crazy.
I cover this in my review. I suggest you go craft in Martlock. So dumb that certain jerks have 300%+ tax to abuse new players, who know nothing of what tax is.
I really wish the tutorial explained the tax system better.
Lots of predatory guilds and cities out there that charge a lot of money for nothing.
Thank you, and also to the others that replied. I thought the charges were just a part of the game, I had no idea it was all player controlled. At least I didn't spend a whole lot yet, but I would have!
1 of my bad things, is I tend to go into games "blind" and figure them out on my own. Only thing I really researched on this one was PvP because I am usually not a big fan, but I enjoy it in some games (like Black Desert Online, so never know). But I failed to research anything else due to me preferring to go in blind.
