learning points

New player here.

While playing in the starting area, I got a message saying I reached the daily limit in the combat node.

Checking the 'destiny' page I can see that I have one learning point. Problem is, I see nowhere I can spend that point on. The only combat nodes that contain the 'learn' button require 2 learning points.

Will I lose that point at the end of the day? how does that work exactly? If I can never earn more than one learning point how am I supposed to learn the 2LP nodes?

I tried searching for 'learning points limit' etc. in Google but I got more confused than before with the results I found.

I haven't really logged in to play since the game went F2P, so I don't know how/when they give those points out with the daily timer ... however::

With premium you earn 20 learning points per day. Learning points earned NEVER go away unless you spend them. You can accumulate up to 9,999 learning points last time I asked them (maybe more now) so don't worry about capping it.
You can spend the learning points on certain combat, crafting, and gathering nodes when you reach a specific percentage of progress. Using the learning points immediately finishes that node/level to 100% so you learn it instantly.

Keep in mind though, learning points are a limited resource and you will need them more later on in your gameplay then you do at the beginning. Spend them wisely, and on things that you REALLY want to level Fast. In general, when first starting out in the game it is more beneficial to just farm out the fame needed than to use learning points on the low level stuff.
