how to unlink account?

So i have a problem,

i reinstalled this game after years and now it asks me to give verficiation code because "your logging in from another device".

However i checked all my email accounts and didnt receive any email with said code.

So since my old account is worthless anyways, i want to just start a new account.

But steam auto logs me into said account which i cant verify.

So how can i unlink my steam from albion? So i can create a new account?

Well, loads of people have the same issue. I mailed their customer service just to get a standard auto reply after 48 hours.

Its the worst customer help I have ever encountered in a online service, just so you know if you want to buy in premium.

You could download the client from their webpage and open a new with another mail probably

I got exactly the same Email.

Unfortunately i dont know which email i used years ago to create my albion account.
This is obviously my own fault but honestly: this can happen, especially after years not touching the game. It should not hold me back from picking the game up again on a fresh account.

I ofc have acess to my steam and my steam email, so please just unlink my old account so i can create a new one.
Or tell me how i can unlink my steam from albion, so i can do it myself?

Every other game there is i never had that problem, they have a proper launcher and let you choose which account you want to log in, so there is no problem with creating a new one.

I have never encountered anything like it either, and an automatic respons to the issue aswell is pretty frustrating

They claim a reply within 48 hours, but its more like 5 days as of late, Much as I like this game, support is very lacking, a shame, for the amount of money they make.


Of all the games I have had to contact over the last 10 years for support, this would be the 2nd to worst. FB support hold the title. The Albion then Comcast(not game related)

The support is very unprofessional and not willing to resolve issues at all. The forum mod here is very helpful, but her hands are tied, since the devs dont do anything on their website to resolve issues. Get killed by a cheater? Dont report it, they will remove your video on reddit, on steam and copyright strike you on youtube.

Make a ticket? It is their policy not to replace gear or get involved in the games economy in any way, including replacing gear stolen by a speed cheater.

10/10 worst support 2nd only to FB
