where tf can i find a tanner?

everyone responding to this post please treat me like a noob, like a 5 year old that doesnt know anything. when you start the game i start out at the mountain cross and the closest city they send you to is fort sterling. i am finding it really annoying and frustrating that there is no tanner for t4+? but multiples of the other shops. seriously am i stupid and i just dont see it?

Because the region fort sterling is in has no hides, and the crafting bonus there is for Wood turned into planks. I advise you move to Martlock and farm hides in BridgeWatch region then go back to Martlock and craft your leather there to enjoy 40% crafting bonus. Make sure to check how much the shop taxes you before using that particular shop, you can do this by Pressing "N" to see the map of that city and press on the tanner to highlihgt all of the tanners there and check how much they tax just by hovering on that icon of the tanner in the map.

Thank you, but moving like that is alot of money that i do not have as i am new. I would have to think of a way to make money first. When that heppens i will do that, thanks for explaining

Just travel by mount, ditch FortSterling and live in Martlock or Bridewatch if you want to craft leather as a profession
