Whats the point of yellow zone
So me and my buddy, ~14 hours in-game, decided to get better loot then these ridiculous 500 silver worth runes, and 1-6 purses, 1k silver each. So we decided to head to yellow zone next to the town. Friend for some reason had pvp flag turned on. On our way to find a dungeon someone attacked him, and i couldnt help and fight the aggressor, so i turned it on too. When we finally fought our way to dungeon we got killed inside by 3 ppl this time who then proceed to camp our bodies. Not gonna discuss degeneracy of people who actually enjoy it, we just logged off. So now its impossible for us to get back in town. When logging in i immediately get attacked without opportunity to swap my holy stuff for something else. When i just trying to push ppl away with holy staff W i get marked as a criminal and have to log off again. I'm actually scared to imagine how much will it cost to repair my gear now, and i'm not gonna die and leave my loot for anyone, now its principal.

So can anyone explain what to do in these yellow zones? I've been killed few times and lost my loot before, and i'm fine with it. But what i can't get is how yellow suppose to be safer, and what am i suppose to do if i'm not in the mood to loose my gear again, but need to farm some better dungeons than t4

Blue and Yellow zones are starter areas where you can do PVE activities safely. If you're PVP flagged in Yellow zones, non-hostile players can engage you in PVP and if you lose you get knocked down. If you're knocked down, you can't be looted unless you click on "Die" which makes you drop everything you're carrying, which included the items you have equipped.

If you joined a City's faction, it will turn the Blue and Yellow zones but this will no longer be the case once the Call to Arms update arrives on March 17. In the CTA update, PVP in Blue and Yellow zones will only result to a knockdown.

Please note that you cannot be spawn camped if you get knocked down in a Yellow zone. When you rise up after getting knocked down, you have a protection bubble that lasts for a few seconds, and you can use this time to press A to exit the dungeon.

really no reason to red up in a yellow zone unless you want to pvp as blue berries will swarm you

So why do people flag up in yz's if they get nothing from it? Im trying to understand the motivation behind doing something with no reward or gain.

necroposter

yeah I think it's stupid too but some people just like killing people most players won't flag in a yellow zone lose reputation if you win and you lose durability if you die so it's kind of pointless there's no need to flag in yellow zones if you want PVP there go to a treasure chest node when they spawn
