Should I switch to steam version?

Well, it depends, if you wish to have the game in your library, then go ahead. T4 can be reached in a few days, so you won't lose much actually.

If you switch over to Steam version lemme know, will be happy to walk you through a couple dungeons in t5 so you get your t4 back in one dungeon. Can cycle through your weapons so you get all to t4 at least :)

Are you guys certain If I move to steam I lose all my progress? thats rather strange.
I got to tier 5 now I don't think I would want to lose my progress It already takes a long time to level items I had hard time getting to lvl 22-tier 5 on spear and adept in mining rest is even harder because Im fresh out of learning points

I'm not too sure TBH :( I don't see an option to merge, link or login to other accounts. Maybe you can contact AO support and see if they can do anything for you?

Nope you have to make a completely new account on steam in order to play Albion. I contacted them recently on this.

Also if you delete your character and want your name you have to wait 72 hours for it to become available again.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to migrate your current account to Steam. For more information, read the forum post here: Existing Accounts and Steam

If you wish to add your existing account to play on the Steam Client, you can add Albion Online as a non-Steam game to your Steam Library.
