Yes, to buy the island. Don't need to have premium to keep island. Have fun collecting 8-9mil in silver or paying real money.

Its worth to pay once for premium its dosnt cost very much and first premium gives very good profits, later u can buy it for in game valut

idk. thought the 3days of premium is a trial premium. You need the full 30day premium to be a actual premium status.

You cant buy and keep with the trial 3 days -- you can buy and keep with any other form of premium...

You need premium to buy personal island but you can create a guild and buy Guild Island without premium only benefit in personal island then guild island is place where you can grow crops . In my opinion crops are not worth going for it just create guild buy guild island and go for houses with Labourers that give you everyday profit income.

Used my 3 day premium to get my skinning over the 30k hump in gathering and opened up t4 tool - use it when you think you hit a wall.

yeah i saw crops price but animals seems ok to make profit

Crafting Labourers my advice if you have couple of personal islands/guild island full of T5-T7 house will give you lot of profit and if you fill up journals yourself you get even more free silver every 22 h . Its big investment to get a number of guild island full of T5-T7 houses but it will pay off in long term.Also if you want to fill up journals yourself you need to get crafting to T5-T7 depend on journal you fill up this will take time and silver ofc you can pass silver point if you can also gather and get materials from your gather but it will also take time to get gathering skill of for example hide to T7 to make leather T7 and use it on craft . The point is you can even play solo and make a tons of silver .
