"Incorrect client version" at startup

Yesterday I installed the game yesterday and played a bit.

Today, there was an update on steam, it installed successfully.

The launcher downloaded an update as well (about 500MB). I use normal server and click start.

Then, the game loads up to 100 %, and I get this error (if I click ok, the same error box reappears)

Incorrect client version! Server expects version 1.16.396.168823, but your client is only compatible to 1.16.396.167903

Same here. With an addition - At the server status window it checked for data integrity and started a DL. Stalled about ~5% in. keeps doing that or nothing at all.

Launcher is f****d again. Gj albion team. Thats not the first time and starts getting more of and rule...

client downlowded, but i have a bug at the launchig progress (1%)

I have now progressed to the 1% mark mentioned above. From the lack of response to this and/or no fix should I just uninstall/reinstall the game?

note that I also had the bug at '1%', the first time I installed the game and again after the update, **simply relaunching the game** solves the 1% bug on my side.

The bug in the question is another one.

To solve the "Incorrect client version" , **reinstalling the game** worked.

Too bad for those who have a slow connection, it's like ~10x the update duration
