1) Yes there is durability, every usable equipment has durability without a way to make it infinite. Gathering equipment also has durability, same for the tools.
2) Depending on the zone you're in, you may be able to full-loot players or others can to you. (blue = safe, yellow = pvp but you cant be looted, red + black = Full loot pvp)
You would normally use gear which you can afford several sets of, and save that super-expensive gear for safe areas such as arena.
3) Only humans, but your class is what you wear. As for other races being released, that's something I have no idea on.
4) You can also be strictly Pve, but you'll most likely get bored of it and eventually go into pvp. All the good loot and fun stuff with guilds are in dangerous zones where you'll often run into gankers and need to fight.
5) The only thing you lose when you die is your loot, durability and a % of resources in your inventory depending on the zone.
6) Constant updates, I often see a mod online and talking in chat with the players. I don't know the specifics on their behaviour and info though but they seem cool.
7) You need to have some sort of self-motivation to keep playing the game, it can be a bit of a grind, but for me it was 100% worth it.
8) There was a cash shop? Never seen it or heard of it if there is one. Having premium only gives you a boost to the game (which is extremely helpful). You have to grind your skills along the skill-tree, there shouldn't be any way around that.
1.) Well that sucks, are repair fees at least cheap?
2.) Oof! That sounds terrible! Least for the red and black zones e.e
3.) Big oof. Being whatever class is fine and dandy, but it doesn't mean much if it's for a race I dislike.
4.) ...Oh boy
5.) Thats better than a hard character reset =/
6.) Not bad.
7.) I've played my share of grindy games. What would you compare the grind to?
8.) I was told there was a cash shop or something to buy outside of premium, maybe thats for when it goes F2P?
Do we have to buy more bank space with real money in this game?
1) Repairs are based on what tier + enchantment your equipment is. Starting out, repairs cost next to nothing. Join a guild and do a higher tier random dungeon (People are nice enough to carry you if you are in the same guild from my experience when i first joined.) Just know the basics beforehand.
2) Red zones and black zones aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be. Yeah full loot sounds scary, but you get used to it. Yes, you will die, you will find out the higher traffic areas soon enough. By then though, you should be already willing to be okay with risking gear though. I recommend you could join a guild with a big alliance that owns terrirtories (which are like safe spaces in that zone) If you're nervous about that or being chased.
If you want anything higher than Tier 5 for gathering, or higher tier mobs w/ better loot, you got to risk. Just don't bring anything out there that you are not willing to lose
4) The end game is mostly pvp with guilds and alliance content. PVE is a thing especially with this new content (random dungeons are fun). If you wanted to run the safest hardest dungeon (lvl 15 HCE) those are safe but very expensive to get into. Don't worry about losing anything until you're comfortable with red and black zones, by then you should have enough money to buy disposable gear.
5) You level your equipment basically. You wear T2 leather helmets until you unlock T3 leather helmets. Higher tiers give more skills and item power. Each weapon has its own specialization that you get stronger with it, and a general level up (to use higher tier and other versions)
Its confusing and someone might explain it better than I could.
6) I'll let you form your own opinion on devs. Id check the offical forums and you make the call. There is a mod in my alliance and hes pretty chill
7) Definitely would recommend if you like playing in groups. This is a group game vs a solo game (I mean solo is possible but you get locked out of other content like dungeons, hces, zergs, etc.)
I'd buy just the normal package, if you like it more you can always just buy the others (That's what I did, but I waited for those to go on sale)
8) Cash shop sells vanity items (worthless in my opinion) like fireworks, wedding rings, etc. Nothing that would normally affect gameplay. You can buy gold -> turn into silver but even then its because someone is buying it with their silver.
Each town has their own bank space and a weight limit (which is really hard to fill) There are a lot of slots you need to fill. There are also war chest in pvp areas if you are desperate for space or want stuff out there.
If you need more, you would have to purchase premium (buyable with in game currency too) to own an island. There, you can buy chests at the marketplace (again, with in game silver) and you can place them in your home. Trust me, it'll take awhile to fill up a chest with useful ♥♥♥♥
1.) Glad to hear.
2.) Lol, I took that like "Yeah, it sucks, but you get use to the pain." xD
4.) It costs something to get into dungeons?
5.) Oh? Do you have to physically level it (like feed it items or something else), or is it like a passive thing from just wearing and using it?
Also, this doesn't reset after death, right?
6.) Hmmm....
7.) Nioce~
Think I'm kinda racing against the clock there. Don't the packages go away once the game turns F2P?
8.) Most excellent!
For the other question someone else asked. So does this mean the banks aren't connected? Like if I store A in town X and use a bank in town Y, item A won't be there?
War chests? Is that something anybody can look into and take from?
Also, thanks for the reply~
4) there are dungeons and there are hces.
Dungeons are free, Hces cost a map (buy it or get it from a drop) It just cost a lot for the viable equipment
5) passive. Just wear it until you unlock the next tier
7) hmm, probably the starter pack (which is the $20 - $30 cost to buy the game) I am pretty sure the dlc will stay since those are buyable packs
8) banks arent connected. What you have in fort sterling (a town) will not be connected to lyndhurst (other town)
The war chest are just banks that are in pvp zones. No one can steal out or those chests but they can camp those places and wait for you to pull stuff out
Hces and maps? Wha?
For the banks, from what I know, towns can be controlled by people, could they take your stuff out of the bank if they control the town?
War chests sound pretty solid, much better than what I assumed.
