Can you breed Ox Calves?
I mean if 2 adult Oxen are together can they make calves? If not, how do you get calves? (Yes I know you can buy them for 12,5k but what's the point in making them if a Transport Ox sells for roughly 11k?)

You can get Calves from the Farming Merchant on your private island (it must be at least level 2 for him to appear). Animals also have a chance to have offspring once they are fully raised.

When you are raising the Ox, you get the initial Calf back (as long as you nurture it when it is growing). So you can continue to make Ox "forever" with just the initial investment. That is why horses/ox are sold for less than the cost of the initial foal/calf.
You also have a small chance at a Second foal/calf for each one that you raise (provided you nurture it) so you can turn 1 Calf into 2 Calves.

Does nurturing the calf cost focus points? If not, what does it cost?

EDIT: Ok it does cost Focus points.
