making money in this game is so easy that buying gold is not worth it also with the conversion rate to silver buying gold is absolutely a waste of money except if for some reason you didnt make enough silver for you're premium sub (paying for premium with silver is very easy) then you probably want to just pay 10 dollars of gold and buy the sub (which i have never done). Server is located close to new york/ wasington. east coast basiccly.

Correct. Everyone plays on one server, which is located in Washington DC.

Game can't support multiple servers with population falling off a cliff the way it always has 3 months into each beta and near imediatly after official launch.

I skip the game soley for the reasons above, and don't see why anyone in Europe should play it until they get it solved.
Try out the game with the trial key to see if that really bothers you at all. The combat in the game isn't based on lightning-speed reactions, but more on smart positioning, use of abilities and build compositions. I'm from EU as well and don't have any ping-related issues - even in combat.

My background is in online first-person shooter games, so I understand your concern. Anything over 60 ping there gives you a significant disadvantage, but you won't experience that in AO.

As said, there are 7-day trials available, so see it for yourself.

Well you can but i cant get enjoyment out of games with a ping above 100+ and looking on how the fighting in the game works its gona be bad for me.

At 8 pm in my time western europe I CAN'T PLAY BECAUSE OF LAG and my internet speed is 100mbps download and 50 uplad. We NEED EU SERVER

everyone in western europe can play this game just fine. this must be a problem with your internet since about 65% of the playerbase lives in EU

aaand now I would love to see how ppl still says its easy to buy gold when its not 300-350 anymore, but 1750-2000 :D
about pings after the almost-a-year from OP post, for futher readers - sometimes ping can jump when there is overload, currently lags are almost non-gameplay-htting. sometimes its just 'synchronization jump' like someone is standing for example, 1 meter further.

I am playing from Germany and i hardly had any lags yet. Only around late night some small spikes. Its perfectly playable from Europe :)

Keine Ahnung warum die mein Post wiederbelebt haben wie irgend so ein Nekromant, und ich werde es mir vermutlich nicht mehr holen. Aber merkt man die denn Ping echt nicht? Andere MMOs die ich ma getestet habe auf NA Server sind ziemlich kacke mit denn delays die man auf Sachen hat.

Ich habe nur kurze Lagspikes gehabt, in der Zeit, als die Amis etwa Feierabend hatten, sonst nix. So ca. 5min lang^^

Brauchst ja auch nicht kaufen - ist ja ab dem 10. F2P, dann kannst du es selber ausprrobieren :) :cinnamon:

Ja, Nekrromantie ist manchmal fein, gel? :chocola:
