Don't listen to anybody saying it's a p2w... can you buy currency and start buying gear? Yes. But that doesn't mean you can buy a magic pass that grants you levels in skills, because it doesn't. You still have to grind like everybody else, only you have more silver than others. PvP takes some skill, no matter the amount of money, you still need to be good.

Even if you pay money to get almost unlimited silver and gold you still have to play the game in order to use better items because every item like the bow for example has it's own XP that levels up and unlocks higher set items and also gives you a bonus damage for each level. alright i normally dont jump into these types of conversations. but really are you guys even playing the same game i am? I like this game does it have some crap parts...sure...most games do. BUT you can buy gold and then buy tomes for XP so WTF are you guys talking about you have to xp? the tomes drop all the time i sell them for 36k plus a pop and they give 10k xp...you just wear the gear you want xp with and buy them.....its def pay to win if you wanna drop cash and how much just up to you. stop misleading people P2W does not mean the game is crap just means its easier if you got extra cash who cares.

And this is a perfect example of a load of BS. Each tome of insight is about 35k right now for 10k fame. You need roughly 14.8mil Fame to max only 1 weapon, for example Crossbow. That equates to 49million silver (not including tax and the t8+ weapon) to max out only 1 weapon.

The current exchange rate is about $10USD for 3.9mil silver. Thats about $150+USD for one weapon. Multiply that by 9 slots, and thats well over $1250 for only your first set of high tier gear. Thats only ONE spec. Remember, you die and lose everything in this game so you have to keep purchasing hundreds of dollars worth of gear every month.

To be honest, if you consider that pay-to-win then sure, but atleast their funding the game I really enjoy and I can still kill them and take all their stuff.

Okay so after around 100 hours in the game I have worked out my methods of getting money and I get anywhere between 600 - 700K/h which translates to about $2/h if we're talking gold prices. The game isn't pay to win at all. If it is. So is OSRS. It's exactly the same as that model. Works damn well! Really fair, put the effort in, you get rewards back.

Yes and No. Mostly No Ill explain.

You can buy gold and then sell it to silver, and buy anything you want off the market. However, just cause you bought it, you cant use it, until you actually level up that specific area.

Example.

T8.3 Boltcaster You buy gold, sell gold, buy these for x amount of silver.

Well, get ready to go from bow, t2 t3 t4, the crossbow I think, t5 t6 t7 then to t8, and then a bit more to unlock that point 1 point 2 and point 3. Now with a decent guild you can just run a fame farm for 2 or 3 nights hardcore and be able to use it if your lucky, but normally, you cant use any of the higher tiers until you learn it

And you cant really pay to learn.

TLDR?

Yes it has pay 2 win elements, but its not how you think, and you dont really get any true advantages if you know how to play.

Yes it its p2w the premium is only boost to your lvl in game but ther is chose to pay for the skills by gold but it is so expensive like 7Mil gold for one skill max out so yes again it is but it is to expensive only the rich could skip the game to max
