Best kind of bow

Bow of badon/longbow for leveling. Normal bow for single pvp. Longbow/Wailing Bow for big group pvp.

i like crossbows, but im noob, it feels like the crossbows have more usable skills, lower dps, but better skills to clear groups of mobs, im using it for dungeons, but i guess for single targets its better to use the normal bows since higher dps and more singel target dps skills.

again, im noob, and didnt even try the normal bows, since i want to go lvlupcrossbows first, its my impression of the skills they got on them.

normal bow higher dps/more single target stuff.
crossbows, abit lower dps, but more mobgroup clearing with mines and explosive stuff. some crossbows like boltcaster is ingletarget oriented but they mainly feel more for pve only or if you want alot of stunnies.

Basically what HelloDinos said, except I would recommend warbow for solo gank. Bows are not weak and useless from my experience btw.

well, for small scale pvp its hard to still defend bows i guess, since its so easy to close in and then the bow wouldnt have much meaning anymore other than the stun or kockback, thats why i love the crossbows more than the normal ones they have more utility skills, but less dmg though.

Makes sense. I like bows, but I may give crossbow a try actually. They definitely rock at group things, or pve though.

ye, wiith the crossbows you have a every third knockback passive, a knockback active skill*low cd like 4 secs only* and group supression in the form of mines/bombs , slow with caltrops and someo ther stuff.

when i go the third shot knockback passive, the knockback active/or 6 sec silence , and then take the light crossbow with its sticking bomb that does 600 +-dmg its a hard time for any caster or other channeling skill to really complete in my range.

sure its not perfect, but nothign is i guess.
