Auto gathering

There is any problem if someone use auto clicker or auto gatherer ? it is not cheat it is a simple application

If you have a razer keyboard or logitech keyboard and use software that comes with your software, I dont care what anybody says, you WONT get banned, I have used Razer Synapse to auto gather a node while making dinner or showering. Its not something they can ban you for without losing a huge part of the gaming community

Now if you download some 3rd party software that isnt for your keyboard or mouse, I would assume that is not allowed, even if it does the same thing as keyboard software, Its a grey area, macro software for keyboards=grey macro software=not allowed

Maybe a dev can actually post here, but I have used Razer Synaspe 2.0 macros and never got banned

It is clear cheating. In all games. But most medium sized mmos dont have the capacity to hunt these ppl.
Also since u get the proper ressources in blackzones pvp might alrdy fix that prob.
at a profitable level u dont just stand there and pick them up, u gotta search them most of the time.
Once ure starting to macro with set timings it becomes a script, and thats actually heavy cheating, since u could auto heal ur pt or manipulate combat with that aswell...


"simple application". let me call it "not intended third party program affecting game mechanics", which kinda is the definition of cheating, but as said, i dont really think they would ban you for it even when it could make sense

Takes a few weeks or months before u get banned.
If u do it in bigger style (several accounts that farm in VM) then your main account gets banned aswell.

People can quote anything they want, until a Developers comes on here and says specifically Razer Synapse and Logitech Bundled Software is a BANNABLE offense, I dont care what any player or any steam forum mod says. I have used them in all games from Ark, to CSGO to WoW and SWTOR, never got a ban in any game.

With all due respect, I have bought the game back during Founder Release, I even made video tutorials on how to setup auto running hotkeys before they added that-never got banned. If you have a razer or Logitech keyboard you are never getting banned. You are using software that is needed to run your hardware properly. Now if you use 3rd party software not intended for your hardware, then yes, ou could risk a very real ban chance

Just to verify, I made a video showing my macro for auto running and I am not banned to this day-I even posted that video on Albion forums back in the day and it was met with upvotes and thanks. Now they added an auto walk feature. You can use the same auto walk to auto hit a node while you afk for 5 10 minutes.


Now keep in mind, I dont macro chain 4 to 6 nodes at once. I only use it to auto walk or auto hit. And to this day I was never told not allowed.


But my advise is if you think its risky, then please dont use it. Or ask the developers via email support. All I can say is I never got into trouble for this.

By creating an account and playing the game you agree to their TOS that you won't use third-party-services or other means to automate anything done ingame.

They could even ban you for being suspicious, even if you're not using any software at all.
There's nothing you can do about that, because in the end they own the servers and therefore are allowed to decide who is allowed to use it or not. (If you see it in the legal pespective)

In the end I doubt you'd get banned for automating gathering few times a day or so.
The only times they'll probably swing the ban hammer is if your activity could actually harm the market, when you're running like 5 automated accounts or smth.

Yeah I could see that. but also maybe why I didnt get banned is I posted the video on their official forums before the steam released and asked if that was ok and was told yeah, as long as I wasnt using it to automate the game in ways it wasnt intended, something to auto walk or auto hit was fine, as long as I still had to make my character go there.


Setting a macro to say, hit this tree, that rock, kill this mob, then sell, yeah instant ban incoming lol.

But as I said, if ppl are worried, dont risk it, I asked when I did it and was told it was fine. If I can find the old thread Ill link it

I think MMO Devs usually struggle with the morale aspect of forbidding these things.
Cause they can't tell the one half that's just using it during 15min afk time to allow it and those that use it in the extreme that they can't. So usually Devs just forbid it in general and fish those out that go too hard :p

If program you use is doing actions while you are not there, you will get seen, reported and banned. Just past week I know of at least two guys who were auto gathering ore in Camain, who got caught and banned. All it took was someone posting about it on EN once, one of Mods/GM's went to look, and then they were gone.
