Dwarves won't bring Bone Ash to Arcane Forge for Lime
As the title says, the Dwarves apparently have a problem with putting more than one Bone Ash in the Arcane forge when I'm trying to make lime which is required for Mortar which is Required for some of the bigger buildings.

There is plenty of Bone Ash and the Dwarves will even grab 2 from storage, but only place 1 into the Arcane Forge and then bring the other back to storage.

As a note: It worked a few times to make lime, but suddenly stopped.

Scrap the Arcane forge and rebuild it. Worked for me

I had this same issue. I don't think the forge likes mixing different kinds of ash. I had demon bone ash and spider bone ash and leaving the forge open to choose which bone ash type horked it.

I found out that the course of the problem ist that there are different types of ash produced by different Bones. So if your Arcane starts producing with lets say Ash made of Demon bones, but you just have one of that type and plenty of others, it will not mix the Ashes, it wants 2 Demon Bone Ashes. You can work around it without scraping. Select in the producing screen wich ash to take, there you can see the amount of ashes and set it to the one with the most ash. This problem ist not only in the Arcane, but in more Workshops. For example the jeweler. If you have 2 rubys and 3 others, he will get stuck trying to produce rubys instead of switching to other types that you have plenty.

Love your game and the support is top. Keep it up guys. I will keep reporting my observations ;)

Confirmed, this is exactly what i am experiencing with Bone ash. The workaround you mention work for me. Though it is still an inconvenience, i am fully confident that the devs will fix it.

I fixed this for the upcoming patch, now all kinds of bone will yield the same kind of bone ash. Sorry about the inconvenience!
