How did you update your driver? Through Windows or Nvidias program? You need to use Nvidias program to get the latest drivers.
Rebooting did not help
Can you run the tool at https://vulkan.gpuinfo.org/download.php ? It's like DxDiag, but for Vulkan.
If you don't get any device(s) listed in that, then something is wrong with the driver installation.
I'll go look for the problem
Thanks for the quick and good support!
I have seen with with many other games (usually with Vulkan)
Any suggestions? My desktop machine has integrated intel and dedicated Nvidia RTX 2080 and it runs if fine. Could it be the AMD integrated chipset on laptop? I'd be curious to know if the other people having issues have the AMD set?
Restarted my PC and it went back to not working, but then it turns out straight-up disabling the integrated graphics adaptor fixes the issue. Obviously that's not ideal.
Considering that you have an integrated graphics card, let's try to force the game to go through your NVidia card:
Right-click anywhere on the desktop, and then select Display settings. In the right panel, scroll down to look for and click on Graphics settings. Under Choose and app to set preference, select Classic app and click on Browse. Then, browse to the game exe file to force to use a GPU.

This did not work.
The iGPU (Ryzen 7 3750H) Vega 10 and the GPU (1660 TI Max Q) in my laptop both support Vulkan. I would assume that this is an issue with nVidia Optimus and Vulkan. If I try the Vulkan tool, I get the error "No Vulkan device found". If I disable the iGPU display adapter, the Vulkan tool shows my 1660 TI, if I re-enable it it shows my Vega 10. It will not show both devices (I can not select between the iGPU or GPU with both enabled) at the same time though.

++EDITED**
Ok I was trying to update my system amd drivers with asus's app. I have now used the offical AMD auto-detect app and updated the iGPU through it. Works fine now. I would recommend anyone with AMD iGPU go to AMD and download and update from there.
Love the game, glad I got it to work on my laptop. Hope everyone else finds a solution.
Thank you for sharing that information with us.
If anyone is having an issue and has an AMD card, please use the following:
- Go to this page[support.amd.com]
- Install ‘AMD Driver Autodetect’ application.
- Select yes on to allow the application to run if the prompt appears.
- Select ‘Download Now’ and follow the steps to install the driver.
- Restart your computer, if necessary after the installation of drivers.
Then make sure that you use this software to update your drivers. We hope this helps!

У меня ноутбук Asus с процессором AMD Ryzen 7 со встроенным Radeon RX Vega 10, а также выделенная GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. Сейчас скачал и установил, что вы посоветовали. Игра начала запускаться, но сейчас выдаёт сообщение при запуске, что у меня: "The graphics card reports that it has 128MB of VRAM. The minimum required VRAM is 1950MB". Что с этим можно сделать? Как перенастроить на карту от GeForce GTX 1660 Ti?
My GPU is an Intel HD Graphics 620 which I understand isn't spectacular, but I should be able to run a 2D game on low settings without constant crashes.
Hope this will help you guys :)
