Live broadcast please stand by

Well, I try to watch a friend's stream playing Hammerting, and the "live stream please wait" screen appears, no picture is seen, but game sound / music is heard. And sometimes, a fragment of the image of the game comes out, but is frozen solid.

What could be happening? It is the first time that it happens to me.

Additional info: I can watch other games when my friend streams, but not with Hammerting.

That is not really on the game I think. What are they using to stream? Is it via Steam?

Yes, it is through steam (in the friends list, right button, ask to see the game), I ask my friend for permission to see how he is playing, and thus see the game (the gameplay), and then this happens "Live broadcast please stand by ", the sound of the game is heard, but the image is not broadcast.

Finally, I took it for granted that since the game is still in early access, i think that the transmission via steam is not implemented yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi there,

Ask your friend to play in Windowed Borderless Fullscreen, instead of Exclusive Fullscreen. I believe this may help streaming.

I'm getting the same issue, and my friend is already playing in Windowed Borderless Fullscreen. I can hear the game sound but I'm stuck on the "Live Broadcast - Please Stand By" screen.

This is happening to me as well. One thing I noticed, was that my steam deck said it was streaming to my laptop, but my laptop just said available, and not streaming also (which kind of explains why it keeps saying 'Live Broadcast, please stand by') but i just want to stream it to my laptop for convenience.
