How to get wood?

Well, maybe I´m to stupid for this one. Can someone tell me how I get wood for my buildings, please?

Either by completing quests, or by scalvaging abandonned equipment in caverns. Things like old mine carts etc grants you wood

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think mushrooms give you wood as well.

i tought same with mushrooms but i was wrong you have to do missions or loot bags

Loving the game so far but yea wood is a big issue for me as well for buildings

Missions from the saw mill is the best way as of now.
