Best way to get coins?
The only way I'm seeing to get coins is through topworld quests? They generally only give a small amount of coins, if at all. The problem I'm having is that after I expand quite a bit, I have 0 coins at all times, making it impossible to recruit new dwarves to my hold. Morale is somewhat an issue, but Beer helps. Has anyone found a good way to get a consistent flow of coins?

You can pretty much sell anything from your stores. My current favorite is granite pillars.

Ball-peen hammers go for 35 silver a pop if you make them out of gold.
Quite a few items made of high end material end up as 1 copper, probably bugged.
Let us know if you find something better.

More complex products (longer production chain) usually sell for more.

granite is infinite unlike ores. Build two quarries. one makes chunks constantly the other making pillars. When you need an influx of money make 400 chunks and 200 or so pillars (2:1 ratio) they sell for (iirc) 36 copper a piece.

And sell them through the ledger with 'sell all' it will save your finger from breaking from too much click :D
