Copper sheets?

I cannot get my dwarves to make copper sheets for the life of me. I've tried everything and they won't do it... help!

sheets take two ignots to make, sometimes an ingot type you only have one of will get qued and will freeze that item in your uilding que. Check that smithy's inventory to see if an ingot is qued for your sheet order. The solution then is two "drop" that item from the building and get ingots of a type that you have plenty of to get them building again.
