I should stack that gear! Cause I do not see how one can do this without stealth at all! : (
Havent had any need so far in using med kits in battle so no need to buy them either . I have no idea what to do with all the scrap that I have cause atm its just sitting there and the shop lady has barely anything useful xD. Liking the game alot and its tedious moments are not even close to how tedious other turn base games can be like Divinity Original Sin 2. with its randomized gear and gearing and learning spells on 4 party members. Etc...
This very much sounds like you're playing the game on Normal and not Hard. On Hard it doesn't ever heal you up, not between fights, not between areas. Unless you're managing to never ever be hit, you'll be using medkits on Hard. So that's why it sounds as if you're playing Normal.
It's a completely different game on Normal in a great many ways (and *is* easy when set on it) and it's also not what they're talking about :D
Mutant is outright evil at times and it feels like im trying one of those puzzle games where im supposed to stack cogs to get 2 sides running or get water running from west to east with extremely few parts. It can be fun, but this is not why I play Mutant.
Yeah, since Normal is the lowest setting and Hard is the default, picking Normal makes it feel like you're picking Easy and so a lot of us avoid choosing it because of that.
There are other reasons as well, including that playing on Normal really is easy and the step up to Hard is fairly large. I think they need another setting there. I would re-label the current Normal as Easy without any changes to it, then add a new Normal that is basically the same as the current Hard setting only with auto healing between fights.
Nope playing it on very hard . Should had taken Iron mutant , oh well maybe next time if i bother. Guess i just got used to the game pretty quick. Liking it alot.
I agree! It would be nice to have something more in normal. IM not to keen on playing this on such a high difficulty, I fnished Original Sin 2 on second highest with friends and enjoyed it super much. I loved Age of Decadence which is super mean and has no difficulty, like a Dark Souls of turnbased RPGs in a way.
But Mutant? It just feels extremely punishing for not much rewards :/
1. You can steatlh up to 80-90% of the enemies in each location so you only need to fight 2-3 guys for real. 2-3 lvl silent weapons can deal with your problems.
2. Sniper rifle with 45 tile range just breaks the AI and the game. You can fell enemies with holes for at least 2-4 turns before your sniper will face any danger at all.
3. Bormin in a good armor and hat can take so much punishment, Just let him trigger the fight and fall back turn after turn. Some guys like electro mages cant deal any dmg if you equip antimage hat. Also Bormin has god mode skill if you need additional crutch.
4. Dont be afraid to let people fall down. No point in wasting medkits if enemy can 1-2 shot your guys. Free revive after combat with 1 hp is a nice way to save on medkits.
It says they bleed out? Don't they die?

Thanks! I gonna give it an eye over! :)
There are plenty of medkits but still not THAT many. You can heal up you guy so he takes 3 hits to die but that difference is so small that I never cared about it.
Healing tank before boss fight is ofc a good idea. If you still want to play safe than just use Bormin in the best gear and with corpse eater mutation. Overall I use him as a punch bag while rest just snipe everything half map away
Yeah sure, it just feels extremely tilted in enemy favour when they storm from all direction plus call in reinforcemence. They even speak about "Those robots" in some zones but they never seem to fight each others. That sucks. Also, far as I know it's meant to be a stealth game, but you need to put so much resources into stealth and yet it punishes you with some encounters which is seemingly impossible without outright combat.
Also Medbots server ghouls so ofc they dont fight. But if you talk about Izza location than mobs from different groups are not attracted to your gunfights unless you would stand right in front of them.
Dont be afraid of fighting and geting downed, You dont need more than 1 hp in most situation anywa and Bormin can use skill to fully heal midcombat from eating the corpses. If someone aka mostly Borming gets injured you have 2-4 turns to finish the fight and get a free revive.
Kiting is a king as well. You can position your snipers Faaaar away on a high ground if possible (40 tiles in my case) and than trigger ambush with Bormin. After that just spring away to waste enemy AP while reducing their numbers turn after turn. Even if you have forced to fight for real with last few alive enemies dont be afraid to tank with Borming. Enemies prefer to attack closes guy so Im yet to see any need in in game taunt mutation.
Later in the game 25-27 lvl you can learn 1 turn god mode for Bormin. That gives you one turn more to finish your job.
Investing into other characters crowd control skills is a good choice as well.
So Isolate, torture loners and than finish last 2-4 guys algorithm.
