the cooking/cutting mini game is the worst,
the cutting knife is bugged or require 100% perfect press.
is there a mod or a cheat to turn them off?
However, I absolutely understand why it's annoying for a lot of you. A toggle would be nice, especially as an accessibility option.
Hope the devs can consider something like that, even though I'm sure coding and designing those systems was a lot of effort. Options for accessibility are great tho!
but for me they are the main reason I'm loving the game. I like a certain element of skill in crafting cause it make the 5 star crafts feel good and rewarding, I do agree there needs to be a bulk craft option outside of simply the double yield things from the masters, or maybe make the masters buff give 4 of the item perhaps. I'm sure theres a way to make it slightly easier to bulk craft while keeping the feel.
That is my only complain about the minigames so far, you get better the more you do and you many items you can easily do 4-stars with 2-stars ingredients after you learn the minigame, losing resources because you don't know how to play the minigame is not a big deal either because you should always craft a test recipe with a lower star ingredient and when you understand what you are doing try for a 4 or 5 star, I made some weapons and food 5 stars already, the apothecary is something that I didn't get that far yet, but still my only complain is the lack of mass craft, after 100 times doing the same minigame things get old.
That said, the cooking minigame is maybe the best one because you have different things to do depending on the recipe, the blacksmith with the mold thing was a little of a let down though.
So far there is something like that with the Master of cooking. For jam and stews I believe.
I've struggled with all of them, whether understanding what to do, which keys/buttons do what, or just plain timing skill. But none of that is a negative to me. The one thing I enjoy about Kynseed is that everything seems geared to make you feel like you are learning, growing, and evolving your character over time. It lends itself to a sense of progression.
All of the mini-games have gotten easier with time and none feel as frantic or overwhelming as they did at the start.
no. they do not.
From one Willow to another... they sorta give some instructions. But go make jam and tell me if the instructions tell you to increase the heat with the little button under the pot.
