how many hrs of gameplay?

I am thinking of getting this but for an hold game and highly priced... I am considering, if it give many hours of gameplay

If you rush through it, each game can be completed in as little as 10 to 15 hours. If you take your time and do everything, you can see up to 60 hours. More if you really dally and try to wait and see how time evolves over the course of the in-game dates. (Obviously not counting speedruns.)

Beating either game in 20 hours sounds ridiculous though, unless you know where to go all the time and are some kind of speed runner.

The first time you play them each game will take you more than 20 hours. I am replaying the games right now and am nearing the end of Shenmue 2. So far I have played 32 hours but I know these games quite well and know what to do and where to go.

Shenmue 1 is quite long becuase working with forklift kept dayes a bit longer and if you dont find your way it is bit longer. Shenmue 2 again is much more action speeded and has no worklift slow duties but it has airing the books but its over pretty fast anyway. as for gameplay for me it took 2 days even i knew what i was doing.

about 30 hours per story, if you dont know where to go, about 20 if you do.

50 hours, wow. I don't think I've sunk that amount of time into the original Shenmue in a long time.

Maybe on my next playthrough, so I can get the Christmas/New Years stuff.

To be honest, I have started from the beginning a few times into my run :P

With all of these mods coming out, I can't help it, it's making the experience so much more enjoyable with them on.

This is a package so you getting 2 games not 1.
You can get discount online and get game for around 26$
Shenmue 1 = 13$ + 30 hours of gameplay.
Shenmue 2 = 13$ + 40 hours of gameplay.
Shenmue 1 & 2 = 70 hours of normal gameplay.

The game is modular so if you replay the game you can take different routes and will be a new different experience.
It's the type of game when you replay again if you liked at first you will enjoy second play though and discover new things.
Has a lot of added extra content apart from main story and secrets.
secret scenes that are time based so if you go to a place at the right time and weather will unlock unique scene.
