How do I do the double blow?

Ive been stuck in this training thing for a half hour now and supposedly im supposed to press foward and punch and kick at the same time but its not registering.

Try tapping forward just before pressing punch and kick

Direction, then like a ms after while direction is still pressed, X & A simultaneously (on Xbox controlller, at least.) You have to be quick. It will almost feel like you didn't even wait after pushing left. Almost like all three are simultaneous.

I see, The mistake I was making was in my timing, because they make you step forward first, I assumed that it was a step forward and then X+A but really you basically press all keys at the same time. Thanks.

Yeah, it's a little confusing. I ran into the same trouble years ago when I was playing the Dreamcast version for the first time. I was thinking moves were like Street Fighter when it's more like smash attacks from Super Smash Bros but with a digital pad instead of an analog stick.
