multiplayer coming anytime soon?

IIRC Devs said multiple times in the past that there's no Multiplayer of Co-Op mode planned for this game

I know its not as simple as "just add multiplayer" but omg the number of people that would flock to the game more if it had it. It would also imo not take anything from the experience of the game as well.

And in your infinite wisdom how exactly would such a feature even work? I must ask but do people that request for multiplayer to be added to a clearly and intentionally designed game focused around a single player experience ever actually consider HOW that feature would actually benefit the gameplay loop in any way other than "here's more people but everything else remains the exact same"
