you can either eyeball it or use the document checker
each country has different stamps/'seals' and paper colours
forged papers are different colours and/or a fake seal
the wrong paper colour can be on any piece of paper
I personally check the colors that way all the time because I find that the shades are sometimes hard to tell apart. I am not color blind that I know of and I see that each country is supposed to have a different document shade (yellow, purple, green, brown, red), but especially when it goes into the quite light pastel shades of the vehicle document I sometimes have trouble seeing that it is wrong.
If it helps, the cargo list and vehicle card are usually supposed to be the same color, so if one of them is off you know that at least one of the two is a fake.
