cant start van engine

Hi, im still with the tutorial and there is one truck who gives me the documents and then drives away, my mission is to chase him, but i cannot start the car, it only shows the light switch available and i cannot shoot him ... doesnt matter how many bullets i shoot .. i think its a bug or?
even when i press H,J,V .. nothing works in the VAN ...

i dont know what i can do now ...

Haven't had that issue yet so let's assume it isn't a bug. Are you sure you're seated in the driver's seat? You could be sitting in the middle by accident. The manual switch should be left off the steering wheel. it's the red button. and as last option. rebind the key in settings and press it while in the drivers seat

im sitting in the driver seat, manual switch is only the light switch showing up .. rebind Key is also not working ...

Then it must be a bug. I would suggest reinstalling the game and if that doesn't work either confirm it here. Then the devs will respond.

Try starting siren first, then light, then ignition.

now i was able to turn the siren on with the switch ... took a loooong time ...
but it works only when the suspect is driving away

hi i'm also having the same issue here, still on the tutorial phase and I cant get the van to start. already tried to rebind the keys and load back the game but still no luck.

I kinow I am replying to a very old post however, Collect your gun from the table if in the sawmill mission, if not inspect your surroundings as there may be an exclamation point you need to complete prior such as picking something up.

Ty so much i just started my second gameplay so i skipped the 5 day tutorial and i couldnt get the van to start, the issue was the gun...ty bro
