I'm like really stuck on what side to choose when you follow Gavrilov? How does it change the gameplay depending on which side you choose?

It's a story thing. I went government the entire first playthrough, which was easy because every mission is the opposition shooting me and doing bad things to me which makes me not want to help them, plus revenge for the Captain. There's about four or five major choices during the story that affect the ending. At the end, you get a Fallout style clip show of how your choices turned out/

Same for not releasing him, which is what I chose. I'm gonna do a cop playthrough and a freedom fighter playthrough

well idk what choice to make too, well i want to be a real good cop but the one who fights for freedom without doing bad things, maybe that could happen next.
