Language spoken in game.

Is the language spoken in game an actual language? It sounds like a combination of a bunch of languages honestly.

I was constantly switching between Serbian and Russian, but I also assumed it could have been a mix, a sort of 'slavic Esperanto'. Definitely sounds convincing, but I only speak Germanic and Latin languages though...

I quit the murder investigation mission cause I you can't skip the dialogue. Too me it seems like a weird choice to have the characters speak the whole sentences in a fake language, and not being able to skip this is annoying imo.

Zajebiście! I learn Polish as a foreign language, and also understand some (but very, very little) Russian. Am generally interested in slavic languages, and Acaristanian consists of so many familiar-ish words, while on the other hand doesn't sound like anything I've ever heard before. I couldn't pinpoint if it's a real language. Finally, I just googled if it's made up - and it's so cool that it is, indeed! :) Awesome job!

So how did you maintain consistency through-out development. Did you wrote down list of all words used in "Akaristanian"? I mean some efforts had to been taken to remember that knife is "ostrok" and "flashlight is "sluzny migotnik" (written as heard in polish)

We will consider making a blog post or something like that about it in the future, when we're done with post-launch madness :D

There is an Interslavic language. Every Slavs understands it. It seems that the Akaristan language is completely opposite. Nobody understands it :)

The language sounds like it is supposed to be from some eastern european country, but it is spoken by a half-Italian half-Spanish Japanese teacher :)

As a Russian guy myself, I always crack up whenever I hear "Polizka Bidlo" said by enemies like bandits. Bidlo is a bad word in russian language and has different stressing too
