Fugitives running away is extremely annoying and "broken"
I get that its a border crossing game and you will have people run at times and try to cross the border illegally, but what is super F'n annoying is having to restart your entire day because of the Suspects vehicle

After chasing down the suspect, 9 times out of 10 they will crash into a tree, rock, wall, whatever, wedging their front end into the object. Once you arrest the suspect it starts a 5 minute timer for you to get back to base (which is stupid, there shouldnt be a timer or it should be longer), yet in that time you have to be able to search the vehicle and find all the contraband before heading back to base.

But every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time you try to check the front end of the vehicle, the game allows you to fit between the vehicle and the obstruction to search the front end, but the game will not let you get the ♥♥♥♥ back off the vehicle, no amount of mashing my keyboard or my mouse will let me get off the vehicle, so now, I get stuck there, watching a timer count down until I fail, or I am forced to restart the entire day

This is extremely annoying and sucks the desire to play this game right out of me, There is nothing quite like doing the entire day with Perfect Inspections, to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by the last guy when he flees and runs into a tree, then you make the foolish decision to try to search their vehicle before heading back to base soft locking yourself standing/climbing on the engine bay and being forced to start over

Just avoid him fleeing the following way: 1) Always, always tell the driver to step out of the vehicle. 2) The moment you spot a snake symbol anywhere on the vehicle, don't do anything about it. Instead, go slap the perp in irons. Now he can't run away even if he wants to. 3) Proceed to take his vehicle apart from top to bottom before you tell your sidekick to clean the area while bad guy listens to the demolition outside, wearing a really sad face.

You can hop into their vehicle and drive it into a good position for examination. I always move mine and suspects vehicle off the road when i start. So if the car is up against something, definitely drive it into a better position before starting.

there's another way. at the start of the day, I always move my truck into a spot. which allocates a space of 3-4 cars to "leave" the inspection area but get stuck by my car right past it. If a normal person goes past good. they add an extra car to my barricade. if a car rams the gate, they either ram into a civilian car, or my truck. Damage doesn't matter, As you have two cars. just only use the damaged one for the barricade always.

I like this idea. Can you post a screenshot of where and how you park your car to block them?

That is absolutely BRILLIANT and made me LOL like a maniac. And it works too, like a charm. Just parked the big truck (probably don't have to use that one, but I wanted to), parked it sideways a bit up the road away from the border post and went back to my business.

End of the day, moved it out of the way so all the legit people could move along, whilst any runner got stopped immediately, right next to the camp.

Thanks for the tip!

an option to put out tire spikes so this don't happen would be nice.

Sadly to you both. I don’t have a screenshot where but be smart. Move car slowly and make yourself a line whenever it sends you back. Eventually you will get your personal sweet spot. In my time I found the space is right past where the police escort or shop appear when called.

This also helps with contraband inspection btw. As they get stopped and rammed before they leave inspection zone. So you can take your time.
