how do I make the prisoner talk, I hit him and he keeps saying the same line over again, am I missing something?

TY for supplying the answer. The first time I ended up beating Ivan to death. The second time I fired a few warning shots from my shotgun, but was only told to F-off.

I hit him once on the leg, and once on the head.

He died instantly.

The moment he starts talking you have to hit his foot with the crowbar. on the 3rd blow it worked for me

I am currently trying to make Ivan talk too. I tried smashing his leg while he was talking, it didn't work for me tho.
I was only told to F off.

Man is tough. Hit him with the shovel, put a bullet in his foot, my rifle on his cheek and still doesn't talk.

On this current playthrough, I whacked Ivan in one arm and both legs with a crowbar, so it looks like the player should be okay as long as they aim for a limb.

I hit him once with the crowbar in the legs and he died instantly... :(

Edit: I figured out there's a specific point where you have to hit him then his health goes up or something.

this is actually really stupid,i dont have a crowbar equipped and all i have on me is 1 hit kill and if u leave the scene it automatically fails you

you need to summon your inner batman, and yell "WHERE ARE THEY!!" at least thirty times
