Game is running on my CPU instead of GPU
So, for some reason my Nvidia(710m) card cannot detect ROE. Even after I set Europa.exe to be ran by my GPU, aswell as the other executables, it still shows CPU when playing the game instead of GPU. I also set the card to be the default one on anything in my PC, instead of automatic selection.

So is there anything related to this? Why is that the game and card are not working together?

Hmmm.... I get stupidly low FPS in this game and this might be why... Ill have to look into this. How are you checking these things? I am no Tech Wizz cx

i5 6.6k 3.5ghz Proc, 16GB DDR4 Ram, gtx980 and I have to play on low everything for 60-70fps

When the game is open and running go to a desktop (windows 10) and do *ctrl + shift + esc then you can see everything running there if you want to see what is being used you can go into the performance tab there, another way of looking at this is by using your computer's in built software for example i use an MSI so i can use their in built "Dragon Center" app which tells me information about my pc in it's current state + customisations i want.

Edit: hope this helped if not feel free to add me and we can message about it.

Desktops don't have switchable graphics like laptops. Where you plug in your monitor is what determines which GPU you're using. Plugging a monitor into the motherboard I/O panel uses the CPU's iGPU (Intel HD 530 for an i5-6600K) while plugging it into the GTX 980 will use the GPU. I think your issue may lie elsewhere, because an Intel HD 530 probably won't get 60-70 FPS even on low/1080p.

Yes the guy above is right, if you are riding a desktop GPU, you do not fall into the same category as myself, but you can still have your CPU core running the game for you for some reason, it can happen, but as the guy said your performance will be terrible, but not as terrible as mine.

I'm not an expert, what I was reading in Nvidia forums is that the game wasn't properly added to the roll or list of games recognized by the GPU yet, so there was a handful of people asking them to add the game in an update. This was last year though, the game was properly named in NVCPL as Garena.exe(after update?), but lets have in mind that the game executable is no more. The game executable we find in the folder today is, Europa_Client.exe, and when running in Windows Task Manager, it reads Europa.exe, maybe that is the problem, a misnaming?

How do I know such thing? Because I was riding an old card driver and it would read PHYSX > GPU when my card was rendering, and CPU when otherwise.
When you are gaming, alt+tab, run task manager(ctrl+alt+del) and see your GPU activity, everyone is saying this game is poorly optimized because generally, the GPU usage doesn't go above 50% and CPU hits peak, picture me surprised, mine doesn't go above 1% and CPU peaks and overheating begins.

What I could gather from all this, is that developers force the game to run in a manner that it can reach a greater audience, including low end rigs(oldies), which compromises performance for high end rigs, it can bring some problems in how the GPU will handle the task of rendering the game and how the process could be split between cores. I hope I'm not going very far with this, just what I could understand from reading some stuff.

This updating plague is a disease. I really wish we could go back to buy games in a physical copy and be done with that, complete game in the box, no DLC content, no sea of bugs to be fixed in updates, but I might as well enjoy my privacy back first before seeing something like that ever happening right? Well, ♥♥♥♥ me.

Your running it on a laptop, not a good suggestion. You need more then that to be honest. Its a onboard card.

Have you updated Geforce Experience to the latest drivers? Had a lot of strange problems before with other games when some games run just fine others didnt detect the GPU until I updated.

Oh well, this is a bit of my own experience, but as far as I know with OEM hardware, you must install the driver that is provided by your OEM? Why, because your card was tailored in an exact manner to fit into your laptop, not to fit in any laptop, you got it? Even before OEM hardware, GeForce cards would run better with drivers provided with the card package(CD) and if you installed recent upates, tailored for newly released cards, the performance would suffer. Well, but that is just my 2 cents.

BTW, I tried installed the most recent driver to see if it would work, but it keeps peaking CPU and GPU is not even being used.

Anyway, yes I know my laptop is crap, even it being an i7 8gb RAM GeForce mobile 2gb, it is crap. But even only the game could be rendered by GPU, performance would be better than being rendered by my CPU, for sure.

PLEASE go to your Nvidia setting panels and change "Auto" to your dedicated graphics card in settings such as Physx and OpenGL

This is what you're looking for in Nvidia Control Panel, OP: https://i.stack.imgur.com/OOfnr.png

You can set it globally or create a profile for RoE and do it in the profile.

It should be a little better than the CPU's iGPU, but not by much with a 710M. Intel's iGPUs in Haswell mobiles or better, i.e. i7-4700HQ with Intel HD 4600, are actually slightly better: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GeForce-710M-vs-Intel-HD-4600-Mobile-115-GHz/m10751vsm7676

Yes I did it already, that is why I'm saying maybe it is something related to the game not being acknowledged by the GPU or vice-versa. Anyway: https://i.imgur.com/cxOl3Uq.png

I appreciate the help, maybe any game rep would show up and clear it up?
