THAT will be fun, and we can put our money where our mouths are in terms of who we think we fare better against whoever.
the devs are like that. they say one thing then forget they ever said it.
season one events had SOLO and DUO coming soon and the event is no more.
I still have 31000 old game credits, 6 months ago they said they were working on a solution and it would be ready soon. 6 months, 2/3 the time it takes to make a human and they cannot even sort this simple issue.
the Custom is there only to taunt you. PERIOD.
You guys expect them to hand out private servers to play on to the public so you can have a bunch of basically empty servers all running for no reason? That really makes no sense.
Imagine having hundreds, or thousands of players trying to make their own servers at the same time. Sure would be fun to see all those empty servers right?
Of course streamers get it, because they have a large enough audience to actually coordinate with people to fill a server, and often do it for some interesting content to watch which helps promote the game.
While I get it could be fun to just mess around on a map with a few players, this would take up a lot of resources (running all the virtual servers) on the developer's side and not be beneficial to them at all. It would even take away from the current player base playing in the auto matched servers, making it even more difficult to find a match for people playing normally.
I could understand if people wanted to setup and advertise their own dedicated server (I would love this) but its highly unlikely they'd ever hand over the server build to do it. If people think cheating is a problem now, it would only get much worse once the server build is out there.
Honestly I feel like people just like to complain about things without having a real understanding on how things work.
