Trojan virus found in the files????

I tried to launch the game today (new game mode) but then this pop up appeared saying "failed to load tpsdk.dll!" and I could not launch the game so I verified the game files and tired again and again it said the same thing i looked into it and my antivirus says its a trojan virus located in the ring of elysium files???

I want to keep playing this because its pretty fun but if theres viruses in the files I don't think ill be playing it again.

only 4 out of 68 probably antiviruses triggering for similar virus or something i dont think they would implement malware.

IMO if malware bytes doesnt threat it like virus its ok and for those who found virus try downloading malwarebytes and do FULL system scan

I'm unsure. I ain't no computer specialist I'm afraid. The way it's hidden as a Trojan does fly some bad juju at us.
It could be a small program meant to look out for hacking programs or even to download this said program. But if this was the case it's been done unethically and should have been covered in the patch notes.

I'm personally going to hold off until we get a response which is personally annoying as I too have enjoyed this game and have put a bit of scran into it.

I think its safe what u could do is if ur file is still flagged as trojan put it in Virus total see what u get there

You do get that everyone from your ISP to the site you watch pron on is spying on you, right?

You do get downloads have to go through steam secure BEFORE you can download them, right?

for what its worth im doing a full system scan with norton anti virus and nothing pinged up when it went through the ring of elysium files and norton is super finnicky it once flagged an official windows 10 authenticated file so i dont know... did your anti virus flag it when you started the event or after the game update download (approx 665MB)?

After i downloaded the update and started it

hmmm ive started it and had nothing after the startup... and norton has flagged stuff in the past
that was in system 32 so norton is reallllllllly fussy and if you delete anything in system 32 it kills your pc

considering tencent use their own anti cheat ten-protect i would imagine its something in that... battleye does some shadey stuff and sends waaaay too much stuff from pcs to servers so i wouldnt put it past this company doing something similar... battleye is used for pubg rainbowsix seige and dayz so i have no idea what ten protect could be doing. the only calming thing about it is that it doesnt seem active after closing the game. you have to allow the application to make changes every start up... whereas battleye is always running always sending stuff even if you arent playing games.
