Server error during loginTimeout

Okay. So this is going to be long. I was playing with me friends till today from launch and had no issues. Today I clicked play and RoE loaded the first splash screen where it connects and auto logins to RoE before you get to the main menu in RoE. (Bots/PvP/ect.) Before I get to that main menu I get this error message. "Server error during loginTimeout" All I can do from there is quit the game and retry but it never changes. Thought it could be a busy server since it is the start of the weekend, but my friends get on with no issues at all. My specs are above requiredso it isn't my rig. I will list the following things I have tried with no resolve.
1- I have verified files. (1 file failed and downloaded tried to launch no luck. Also it doesn't say what file failed.)

2- ran steam in admin (nothing)

3-made exception in firewall/internet (nothing)

4-uninstalled and reinstalled (nothing)

5-reverified after first fail login after reinstall. (1 file failed and it downloaded it again retried nothing.)

6-Verified it two times in a row to make sure the 1 fail file wasn't showing up both times and it doesn't. It seems to actually fix the failed file after it downloads it.

7-Changed my UAC just for poo poo's and ha ha's (nothing)

I am getting annoyed at this issue that suddenly just popped up. Tencent Protection passes everytime not issues with their security stopping the game from starting it seem to be the login as it states.

Yep, I am having this exact same problem. I have also tried using a VPN to connect and still no joy.

Its actually so frustrating, I've been trying to play with my friends since launch. And I have 2 hours of playtime on just trying to get past the "Server error during loginTimeout." Can you please ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work on this tencent or give us and indication on wheter or no you are working on this.

If you encountered the "Server error during loginTimeout" message:

Disable windows defender:
Open settings. Open Update and Security. Click the Windows Secuirity tab. Click "Open Windows Defender Secuirity Center" towards the top of the screen. Now open Virus and threat protection tab. Open Virus & threat protection settings. Toggle off Real-time protection and Cloud-delivered protection. Open up Ring of Elysium.

You might have just fixed the issue. I don't know how I believe I turned off my AV as well and it didn't work. It's 7:47am here right now. I'll try again later to see if i can still get online without issue. I have tried twice just now and it worked fine doing what you suggested. I'll post again around noon my time to make sure it is still working. Thanks for the huge help by the way. I was racking my brain and it seems maybe an over looked rookie mistake. lol

Still fixed. Seems like that solved the issue of the "Server error during loginTimeout" issue. Great job and thank you. So happy to play with my friends again.

i don't have defender running, I use avast.. i have the files exculded so they aren't scanned and it still does it. I even turned off the avast.. still nothing. Firewall is turned off too.. and still it won't play.

hi guys i had this problem with my game 2 moves to fix it , 1 turn off firewall 2 restart your PC right after , you should be good if it works please let me know <3

I solved the problem as follows, just turned off the beta testing in the steam settings and it all worked

have the same problem. made it work after i turned all antivirus stuff of. shut down my computer for the weekend and got back. turned the computer back on and nothing works. have tried everything that has been said up here and nothing works...

ok hey guys ive had the same problem with ROE i tried everything said here it didnt work for me.

now i updated my drivers and have directx12 it still didnt work... then i updated windows and now it works! hope this will helpe people!

Can someone help me with this ? I'm not using windows defender.. And its been a 3 days since this message popped up.. Please.. Help me.. I've been dying to play Ring Of Elysium for days now...

It would be greatly appreciated ...

Nothing mentioned above fixed it...
