Holy crap, how did this simple, basic functionality that's been in games for 20 years escape them?
You can not change your in game settings after editing the file. It will revert back to "0" causing your issue. When I say not change your settings, don't even go in to in-game settings. At all. Mine has been working flawlessly since I set it up. You're doing something wrong if it keeps reverting. Maybe set the config file to "read only".
If I had been playing pubg or other BRs with multiple scope sensitivities, I'd imagine this would've been a lot less frustrating as I'd have a baseline to work from...
If you play PUBG the sens is identical. I set mine exactly the same as PUBG and it feels the same in game. If not, then I don't have any suggestions. You'll just need to figure out your sens settings and then edit the file.
If that really is the case then this will save me some time and grief. I know that pubg has a training mode, so I can just go there, equip scopes and jot down all the sensitivities I end up with on each one, then set the scopes in RoE exactly the same in one go.
Thanks.
Those of us that have been playing since the mid to late 90's and inverted was pretty much standard. I can't change what I've been doing for 20 years.
