The Match 3 or More hand will not go away. Anyway to get it to disappear?

I am leveiling up but still do not make more points. There is no information anywhere about this, What is the effect of leveling up L1-L2 etc besides the +1 and +2 LUCK achievements? I am not talking about the bar on the left here. On the PS4 leaderboard, the highest I see is L50. Thank you....
