As a rule, if I buy a game where I can't change movement to the arrow keys, I immediately ask for a refund. I'm not a big fan of third party apps - and certainly not for something that should be an embedded function.
Being a supporter at the $250 level makes this even more disappointing, particularly when you consider that with Obduction this was possible.
Oh well. Back to Fallout 76, I guess.
I agree that in this day and age the developers should have the good sense to have this as an embedded function, but it is what it is.
Is Key Tweak worth using? I am used to using Arrow Keys for movement in games as well, even had to use a downloaded config file for Star Wars Jedi Survivor to be able to use Arrow Keys in that game. Another side question I have is, how do I get past the first crane and cross the nearby bridge? Help on both issues appreciated :)
Been using it for years and I think it works just great :D
Here is what my Script looks like:
Key.Up = Keyboard.W
Key.Down = Keyboard.S
Key.Left = Keyboard.A
Key.Right = Keyboard.D
Key.RightShift = Keyboard.LeftShift
Help appreciated :)
Anyway: Should be rebindable via input.ini. Problem is figuring out wtf the binds and actions is called in game

GlovePIE does in no way depend on the game, it changes the whole OS inputs (I don't play Firmament yet). I'm also using the newest version and was on 0.43 before for a long time.
I took a closer look now after years and I have to admit that it seems to be that glovePIE outputs both values; so in your case the system goes for "up and w" at the same time, technically. Which hopefully shouldn't be an issue in most cases. You can easily check this in a text file for example.
It also silently crashed a few times when I tested it now, never happened before in all my years using it. Hm.
Anyway, best of luck with it :-)
Of course what you have to put in i dont know.
-1 for no keybind option
-2 for Not having continue as Firsst option in main menu
-4 for narrator not working (might actually be a +5 though. She was quite annoying the few minutes she talked annoyingly)
I do not want to spend time installing a third party application which writes in the windows registry.
I don't have a controller and I don't want to buy one just to play with... a Myst Like !
I'm left handed and I play on a laptop. Moreover, I have an french keyboard and the W key (use to move FORWARD) is located on the bottom left of the keyboard...
So I chose not play the game and asked for a refund.
How much money Cyan won't earn juste for that ? Stupidly too much...
Feels cramped.
I'm this far away (thumb and index finger gap of about 1/4") from getting a refund but will give it a couple of days and hope somebody posts an acceptable solution here or somewhere.
