I've had Rolling Line on my wishlist since I saw it announced. Saw on Twitter today that Dan "NerdCubed" Hardcastle was going to have a little mess about with it.

Spoiler warning: He loves it.

Some swearing.

Enjoy!

26,000 views and 566 replies when I checked it out. Great for Rolling Line and VR!

Wow. Now over 144,000 views and 1,200 comments. I hope some of these people buy headsets. We need more VR players.

I would really love a Vive Pro... I can kinda afford it, but I got other priorities and cant really spend that kinda dough on something frivolous! ^^;

But yeah, for those that can, VR games such as this, niche but awesome, are must buys. Just so cool, brings me back to my Hornby daydreaming days!

Hey lei07 do you have any headset at all? If not I wouldn't really recommend the Vive Pro. I have the OG Vive and and Odyssey, and used to have a Rift as well. The Pro is actually not very pro and waaaay overpriced. I'd definitely recommend a cheaper headset.

Currently no headset, I dont have the space for room sized VR to be honest, but I'd be interested in the best quality I could afford if such a time came I would buy one.

Rift would probably be my choice, but ReVive would be handy.

Damn headset exclusives.

If you don't have space for roomscale stuff I'd probably go with the Odyssey. Definitely recommend you try it on though as I find it a bit uncomfortable- though many others don't. For sitting games it would be pretty much as good as Vive Pro without the immense price tag and with better built in headphones and everything you need included. Vive pro complete set up is something like $1300? Insanity. It's just not that good.

I'm happy that this game supports non-VR, too many games I'm interested in are VR only. I so want to pick up Rolling Line when I can!

The great thing about playing on PC is it makes custom track building leagues faster, and much easier. So even if you usually play in VR, its great to make your maps on PC.

Then you can explore and ride trains in your own layouts back in VR.

All the maps I've personally made were on PC :TinyBunny:

Thanks for bringing that up Franks. I'll have to check it out. I would never have touched it otherwise.
